As you walk into Sofitel Brisbane central you turn left and head up the escalators which takes you up to level one, where the meeting rooms and venue space is located. As you’re standing in the Ann St Lobby, on your left are large south-east facing windows that let in beautiful natural light in the mornings, but if the light doesn’t suit then motorised blinds are readily accessible. The Ballroom Le Grand measures 21m x 38, when fully open and Ballroom 1, the smaller of the 3 ballrooms when partitioned and has a square footage of 212.1m² and can seat 150 guests in a dinner layout. Ballroom 2 is slightly larger with 254.1m² and capacity of 170 seated guests and the larger Ballroom 3 is 331.8m² and capacity for 220 seated guests.

The number of guests in each of the ballrooms change depending if it’s a classroom, cabaret, theatre or dinner layout. The maximum number in the largest ballroom is 1056 guests in a theatre layout.

The Soirée Deck on Level 3 is a event space which is a partially covered and overlooks the Brisbane City skyline and makes for a unique space perfect for cocktail receptions of up to 150 guests.

Sofitel Brisbane Central is easily accessible by train as it is above Brisbane Central Station but also a easy ten minute walk from Eagle Street Pier where you can take one of the many Brisbane CityCats or ferries.
