What can AI do for event photographers?

So, what does this all mean for event photographers? Well, for starters, it means a streamlined workflow and less time spent on tedious tasks. With AI-powered software, you can focus on what you do best – capturing those amazing moments that make events truly unforgettable.

But some photographers may be worried about the rise of AI and what it means for their profession. Fear not, dear photographers! The reality is that AI is here to make your life easier, not replace you. These technologies are tools to enhance your work, not replace it.

Think of AI as your trusty assistant – always there to help you out when you need it most. With AI-powered software, you can take your event photography to the next level and produce even more amazing images for your clients.

Warning. It does not mean that AI can’t do the editing process from start to finish on it’s own! Well it can, however it is best practice to look over the photo selections and also editing results after AI has had a go at it.

And who knows what the future holds? As AI continues to evolve and improve, we can expect even more exciting developments that will help photographers create incredible images and experiences for their clients.

So, don’t be afraid of the machines. Embrace the power of AI and see what amazing images you can create together. With AI by your side, the possibilities are endless!

Which software is best?

After having used both Imagen and AfterShoot as part of a event photography workflow both software do a great job in both culling and editing photos.  In the end we decided to go with AfterShoot as we liked the interface. AfterShoot started with culling as their hero whereas Imagen started with editing and then brought culling in – they both do a good job and suggest you try them both to see which suits your workflow best.

Can you rely on AI?

In conclusion, AI-powered software has revolutionized the field of event photography, offering numerous benefits and streamlining photographers’ workflows. While AI tools can significantly enhance the editing and culling processes, human oversight remains essential to ensure the final quality and artistic vision. Embracing AI as a helpful assistant rather than a replacement, event photographers can unlock new possibilities, create remarkable images, and deliver unforgettable experiences for their clients. As AI technology continues to evolve, exciting developments lie ahead, further empowering photographers to push the boundaries of their creativity. By embracing the power of AI, photographers can leverage its potential while maintaining their unique artistic touch.
